University-Industry Interaction Series for Impactful Innovations
MMRI is organizing a series of weekly sessions, run concurrently on both Point Grey and Okanagan campuses, to foster networking among academic researchers and industries to identify opportunities for new SME-based collaboration and joint projects. The series will start January 30, 2019 and continue until March 6, 2019. Each weekly session will be held from 2:00-4:30 PM at KAIS 2020 (UBC-V) and EME 2131 (UBC-O) and includes short presentations, demos and discussions. All interested faculty members, research assistants, students and industry representatives are welcome to attend. Travel financial support is available for UBC faculty members who may wish to attend an event at either sister campus. Full program schedule will be distributed prior to the event.
